On the Go

‘Museum on the Go’ is a community outreach programme that will be delivered from a purpose-built trailer that will promote our rich culture and heritage.
With the trailer the Museum can attend amazing community events (ie galas/markets/fairs), kura/schools, early learning centres, aged-care facilities, community groups and other general community engagement in outside spaces.

Purpose Built Trailor

It will allow accessibility to our resources, taonga/treasures that are otherwise ‘locked’ away. It will also allow members of our community the opportunity to access the Museum that wouldn’t otherwise be able to visit us.
The trailer can be kitted out for any outreach content and will include new digital technology. It can be modified with new content as our community grows and utilizes the resource.
